Gunwale Guard Trim Insert

Gunwale Guard Trim Insert

Postby LeeBitts » Mon May 07, 2012 4:15 pm

I have no gunwale guard trim insert on my boat. I've contacted WD Schock and apparently the supplier they were using is no longer around. Anyone have any insight on what I need to buy and where to get it?

Thanks in advance ----- cover came off the boat today!

Are you talking about the rubber bit that slides into the metal bit?

If so go to your local powerboat supply shop. Probably one that supplies older bass boats if possible. I know the my rub rail is identical to the ones on an old ranger bass boat my dad has. Surely someone still makes some that will fit.

That is exactly the item I'm referring too. I'll check that out

Oh and just to make you jealous, we have sailed at least once every week this year and never really put the boat away for winter! Granted one day it was 35 degrees outside when we went sailing.

You need to move farther south, great club here in OKlahoma that will happily take all your 20 sailors! Only thing you have to worry about here is tornadoes....
