Housing Coordination

We are attempting to put as many crews as possible in Club members homes for the duration of the regatta. If you would like to take advantage of this opportunity to staff for free near the Club and meet some of the RCYC members, please get in touch with Mike Cazaban as soon as possible. Housing will be first-come-first-serve. While we will attempt to put everyone up, we can't guarantee it. Mike can be reached at
DrAtomix@aol.com (972) 771-6476 (evenings).

Charter Boats

Tow vehicle ailing? Prefer to fly, but the airlines won’t check your Tuna 20? Well, don’t let that stop you. We have a limited number of boats available to charter.

David Rapier will match you up with a boat that is available to sail for the Nationals. You can reach him at (972) 503-7929 evenings or e-mail him at david.rapier@dalsemi.com. Charter boats will be available on a first-come, first-served basis. Deadline for charter boat registration is September 1.

Rates may vary by boat. Certain restrictions apply. Limited-time offer. Batteries not included. Odds of winning depend on number of entries received. Void where prohibited. Your actual mileage may vary.

Crew Coordination

We are providing a crew-coordinating service for anyone who needs crew or would like to crew in the National Championships. You will be able to contact your crew (or skipper) before the regatta to make whatever arrangements are necessary via our Crew Coordinator, Mark Alderman malder@cyberramp.net (972) 772-1925 (evenings).

Social Activities

Tuesday night will be our "Nite Out at the State Fair of Texas". Enjoy exhibits, games, the Midway, lots of food, and free transportation to and from the State Fair. Complimentary continental breakfast will be provided Wednesday, Thursday and Friday mornings. Complimentary refreshments after racing Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. Dinner will be available ($8 - $10 per person) at RCYC Wednesday and Thursday evenings. A Racing and Tactics seminar is planned for Wednesday evening, presented by accomplished Santana 20 sailors. The Annual meeting will be held Thursday evening. And, of course, the Trophy presentations will be Friday as soon as possible after the last race on the clubhouse deck, with lunch available ($4 - $7) from the club.
